A female CAPE MAY WARBLER, the second for Washington, was reported by Bob
Flores at Wanapum Recreation Area near Vantage, Kittitas Co WA. He saw the
bird on 4 May. WA DeLorme 52, AB-1.
Dave Beaudette reports a EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE near East Wenatchee, Co WA
on 30 April. The bird was heard at Bow Lake near Rock Island. To get there,
take WA 28 east from East Wenatchee to milepost 5.6. Go 1.3 miles on Rock
Lake Road and the Bow Lake access is on the left. WA DeLorme 67, AB-7.5.
Two ROSS'S GEESE were seen at Mann Lake, Nez Perce Co, ID on 4 May by Jane
Westervelt and others, along with a single SNOW GOOSE. Mann Lake is about 3
miles east of the Lewiston Orchards along Powers Avenue. ID DeLorme 54, A-1.
