Hello All,
MerryLynn and I started out on the WWRdelta which was very exposed and we observed the following species. 4 MARBLED GODWITS, 3 Long-billed Dowitchers, 6 Semipalmated Plovers, 2 Lesser Yellowlegs, 12 Least Sandpipers, 9 Western Sandpipers, 29 Am.Avocets, 2 Blk-necked Stilts, 4 Forsters Terns and 42 Caspian Terns. We ended up with 99 species just in western Walla Walla County. We found no vireos, tanagers, Empid flycatchers or hummingbirds. Three other groups were out in other portions of the county counting, so the county total is unknown at this time.
