This evening Barb and I simply went for a walk in the neighborhood. This was
driven by a Townsend's Warbler and Hammond's Flycatcher in our backyard
during a patio dinner. Also by the sighting of a Bluejay on David Street
(one block form our house). Migration certainly appears to be in full swing.
The following were noted in about 1 hour.

Townsend's Warbler - 1
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 8
White-crowned Sparrow - 5
Western Tanager - 1
American Goldfinch - 6
Hammond's Flycatcher - 1
unidentified Empidonax species - 1
Western Kingbird - 6

The Bluejay was not found, but we will keep trying and post if it is
relocated.
