My apologies for the late post, but I saw one Western Kingbird
on the afternoon of May 13 (4:00-4:30 PM) catching bugs and
returning to the same small bush for about 30 minutes.
This was between the East end of building 3 and Lake Washington
at the NOAA facility. This is just north of Magnuson Park and
the leash free dog area. A very rare sighting for this campus,
not even listed in our local "birds of sand point" pamphlet.
I haven't seen him since, but will continue to look in hopes he
returns and hangs out for a while.
Anyone else seen one in the Seattle area recently?

Also had a male black headed grosbeak at my feeder this AM.
I live in the north end of Wedgwood in Seattle.
Thanks,
Dana Greeley, Seattle, WA (greeley at pmel.noaa.gov)
