I had a singing DUSKY FLYCATCHER at our place in n. Lake Stevens yesterday,
May 18. It hung around for a couple hours. We've done quite well here over
the years for this species: this was the 4th spring record in 7 springs,
all in the latter half of May. Only one of the others was a singing bird,
though. There was also have one August record several years back.

My wife had a possible Calliope Hummingbird that buzzed the window, but she
wasn't sure. There were also five TURKEY VULTURES over Marysville yesterday
afternoon. Lastly, this morn I had a singing MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER at the
yard's edge, a species we don't get too many of here.
