Hello y'all,

I am spending four days camping in the Seep Lakes area in a couple of
weeks, and was wondering if anyone had some suggested locations to bird
in the Potholes/Columbia NWR area (i.e. specific lakes, roads, camps,
etc.). Of special interest are:

Common Poorwill
Chuckar
Grey Partridge
Long-Eared Owl
Western Screech-Owl ?(don't know if they occur here or not)
Sage Thrasher
Sora
Tricolored Blackbird
Black Tern

Any other noteworthy birds that I should be on the lookout for would be
great, too. Also, hate to keep asking for more, but if anyone has any
tried-and-true birding techniques for locating any of these species for
visual conformation, please let me know. I have been unsuccessful at
finding any of the birds on the above list, even though I have often
heard many of them (Owls, Sora, Poorwill, Chuckar). Thanks in advance
for the vast collective knowledge of this bunch.
