A co-worker showed me two beautiful photos of a Great Grey Owl taken by her
parents on their (private) property outside of Molson WA a couple of weeks
ago. Molson is located ten miles or so ENE of Oroville WA, near the
Canadian border and just a ways east of the Okanogan R. If anyone is
interested in looking for the bird, please first contact Willie or George
Penner, phone 509-485-1922 email williejune at amerion.com so that they know
you are coming and for directions. They report having seen the same kind of
owl on their property the past couple of years...
