This morning before and after work I spend some time walking the loop
at the Montlake Fill. Highlights included:

The Pectoral Sandpiper reported yesterday by Stuart MacKay was still
present and pretty easy to observe both on my morning [6-7:30] and
evening [5:30-7:00] visits. It was mostly hanging around Shoveller
Pond (the first pond you come to as you walk from the Urban H.
building and begin the Fill loop), but also came over to the main
pond for a little while.

3 Yellow-headed Blackbirds were hanging around the main pond, during
both visits.

A Western Kingbird was also present along the edge of the main pond
in the morning.

2 male Blue-winged Teals swam among the more numerous Cin.Teal.

A 2 p.b.grebe-lets w/ their striped heads swam around a parent in the
more overgrown pond.

Probably because I was mostly focused on the above, I only later
realized I didn't see a warbler or a W.Tanager all day.....
