No, we don't have any quail in the collection. However, we used to have a pretty good population in and around the zoo, but that was years ago.

Subject: Quail in Ballard!?
Just got back from a vacation in Hawaii where I observed all sorts
of wonderful birds, but was a little confused upon arriving home in
Ballard to hear the distinctive call of a quail yesterday afternoon.
Followed and found it sitting about 15' up in a plum tree near the
corner of 10th NW & NW 70th. Could it have been an escapee
from the WPZ?
