Of course, quail in Ballard. Wait long enough and you can see almost
anything in Ballard! (Even Ufos and Elvis)
I lived a few blocks from WPZ when I was growing up in the fifties and once
a peacock took up temporary residence in our backyard. Also, my Aunt
remembered one time an Elephant, Wide-Awake, was giving rides (in the 20's
or 30's) and decided to go for a walk down Aurora Avenue.
