Hey everyone,

A few things to add to Patrick's posting earlier this evening. I left
on Friday morning with a few friends and we birded our way to Wenas. Willow
Flycatchers were conspicuous at a spot we stopped at near Tiger Mountain.
The next day 5/24 in the Wenas area I briefly saw a female American Redstart
just upstream from the campground, before a Nashville Warbler (nesting
nearby) chased the bird out of its territory. I had two Least Flycatchers
at Hardy Canyon today (5/26). One was the one found by the Sullivans, and
another I found on the west side of the same grove of aspens. This second
bird wasn't calling but eventually I had good studies of its bright wingbars
and complete rounded eye-ring. I had 121 species during the 4 days, 101 of
which were in the Wenas area. The last species was a nice male Harlequin
Duck in the Tieton River as we were heading up White Pass. That's all for
now.

Cheers and good birding,
--
