I will be traveling between Newport OR and Renton WA
this weekend, and will have about 1/2 day or so to do
a little birding (after travel time). Does anyone
have any recomended/favorite spots along the route I
should not miss? Particularly in Oregon, where I have
not done much birding.
Given no other recomendations, I was thinking about
the Cape Lookout trail, or maybe Ridgefield NWR. I
have not been to either place in years.
In particular, anywhere along (or near) that path
where I might have a snowballs chance in Heck of
seeing a Mountain Quail?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
