Saturday we saw a White-tailed Kite in Lewis County. We were in the Boisfort Valley and had just turned onto PeEll-McDonald Rd. from Wildwood Rd. (page 45, 8-D, DeLorme) and the kite was about a half mile and on the north side. There is a nice green field here with a row of small trees perfect for kites to sit on top. It was very noticeable from the road.

Also now that the cooler air is chilled most plants we have at least one Anna's Hummingbird visiting our feeder here in Vancouver, WA. If anyone would like to see it let us know and we would be glad to have you. Email us if you need directions.
