include:

2 Snow Buntings, northwest of Lynden;
15 Sandhill Cranes, heading southeast over Birch Bay;
149 swans, counted on the first weekend of the North Cascades Audubon's third
annual swan survey;
and 1 Virginia Rail, at Scudder Pond, the North Cascades Audubon's urban
nature preserve.
