Congratulations to the Sullivans...again...for finding the bean geese and
announcing their find. And a special congratulations for putting up with
that nasty remark from someone who will remain un-named...you know who you
are. A small mind at work.

In spite of missing the geese in a very quick trip out to Bowerman today, it
is always a treat to see Ruth in action. She is a passionate birder and an
enthusiastic teacher, and I treasure her reports.

On my drive home I watched as a pair of golfers on the course in Ocean
Shores flushed a large flock of Canada geese...and one beautiful Snow Goose.
Have I mentioned how much I love living in this state?
