Tweeters,

I just returned from Hoquiam where the geese are still present. I
arrived at the airport at 6:30 am and walked out to the end of the road where the
boardwalk starts. I did not see the Bean/ Pink-footed Geese fly in, but they
were present with 3 or 4 Canada Geese at first usuable light at 6:45 am. I
watched them as other Canada Geese and a lone Snow Goose joined the flock. The
group stayed until 7:10 and then took up and flew east and landed on the runway
grass opposite Lana's Cafe. I watched them for another 20 minutes and then
had to leave to get back to my classes. For what it's worth, the leg color
looked pinkish/red compared to the pink of the Snow Goose. The grass was short
enough so that leg color was visible each time they moved. They sure are
dainty.

Cheers,
