I have 1977 reprint of "The Birds of Britain and Europe with North Africa and Middle East by Heinzel, Fitter and Parslow; Wm Collins Sons &Co. Ltd. It compares the 5 large grey geese: Graylag, Bean, Pink-footed and the two White-fronts. The illustrations show only the Pink-foot as having the bluish cast in the forewings. This was mentioned by several observers of the Bowerman Basin birds. I will gladly loan the book to anyone interested. Just give me your mailing address and I will mail it to you.
