Please give me good directions, your fellow birdwatchers will appreciate it.

On 9 Nov, Mike and MerryLynn Denny and John Gatchet birded below McNary Dam
on the Columbia River in Umatilla Co OR. They observed a LONG-TAILED DUCK, a
second winter GLAUCOUS GULL, an adult female BLACK SCOTER, and an adult
RUSTY BLACKBIRD. On 10 Nov these birds were absent, but Craig and Judy
Corder found a PACIFIC LOON. Check either WA DeLorme 29, A-6 or OR DeLorme
85, A-7.

A ROSS'S GOOSE was at the Genesee sewage ponds on 5 Nov according to Terry
and Christine Gray. The ponds are south of town along Cow Creek Road. Take
Cow Creek Road east from US 95 at milepost 329.8 about 0.25 mile to the
pond. ID DeLorme 58, C-1.

A lone, immature TRUMPETER SWAN was on the Snake River between Lewiston ID
and Clarkston WA on 8 Nov according to Keith Carlson. The bird was about
0.25 mile upstream of the Southway Bridge which is south of the US 12 bridge
that connects the 2 cities.

The Latah Co ID BLUE JAY visiting the feeder of Dave Holick was still
present as of 1 Nov. Give Dave a call at 208.882.5552 for status.

The Latah Co ID BARRED OWL found on Moscow Mt was still being seen as of 1
