12:46pm start: Water level at 7.4ft
1:06pm end: Water level at 7.5ft
For anyone interested, I scan from a position within 15 feet of these coordinates: 47deg 30.810N; 122 deg 18.162W at an elevation of 12ft. (Love that GPS!)

Tweeters,
I think the tide was rising, but the marker on the pier across the way is getting mighty mungie, and the brisk breeze from the south kept a constant chop on the river. Of note was the first MERLIN I've seen here, making a pass across the parking lot and along the east bank of the river at 12:53pm. Otherwise, not many birds out during this scan.

Note: I've seen the local Peregrine Falcon nearly every morning at about 6:45am or thereabouts. It generally perches on the top tier of the east-bank power tower.

Birds seen today include the following:
Mallard (8)
Double-crested Cormorant (5)
Merlin
Glaucous-winged Gull (6)
Rock Pigeon (32)
Bushtit
House Finch

May all your birds be identified,
