Wednesday, November 5, 9:12 pm, Wayne Weber reporting from Tokeland and
vicinity. I saw the HUDSONIAN GODWIT today along with about 400 Marbled Godwits
feeding about 4:00 pm along the eastern side of Willapa Bay near m.p.14, which
is 4.5 miles east of the turnoff to Tokeland. It was also seen in Tokeland at
the marina earlier. Also at the marina in Tokeland there were about 250
MARBLED GODWITS and 15 WILLETS. Other sightings of importance; at Mud Bay crossing
west of Olympia I had a LONG-TAILED DUCK, a fairly unusual bird for that area.

Thursday, November 6, 12:06 pm, Michael Hobbs, (425) 869-2370, today we went
back to Marymoor Pk and the sparrow I reported yesterday is a AMERICAN TREE
SPARROW. Thanks to Houston Flores for corresting the ID.

Friday, November 7, 2:52 pm, Brad Wilson (253) 845-3216; today at Hoquiam, I
saw the 2 PINK FOOTED GEESE at the foot of ?K?st. I observed the two birds
along with Linda (Puyallup) and David (Portland). From the end of ?K? st go
down the gravel rd, cross the RR tracks go to a gravel parking lot, park and
check the field.

Friday, November 7, 6:42 pm, Brad Waggoner (206) 780-9581, reporting from a
trip of coastal birding. Jamie Acker and I went to the coast and we found all
the target birds we were after. The PINK FOOTED GEESE were seen at 7:30-8:00
am near Lana?s Resturant. From there we went to Tokeland, found the HUDSONIAN
GODWIT at the dock closest to the road/dike entering the marina mixed in with
Marbled Godwits. We found it fly in at 11:30-2:30 and got good looks as it
settled in with the MG and were able to see the white supercilium. Also we had
the TROPICAL KINGBIRD, west of the marina, there you will see a redbarn/house
and it was in the field and wires next to that house. Thank you.

Saturday, November 8, 2:02 pm, Rachel Lawson, a late report from Dave Swain
and Rick Sanders on a hike to the top of Alta Mt near Snoqualmie Pass. There
they saw several flocks of GREY-CROWNED ROSY FINCHES totaling near 400. Also
at the 6000? level they saw a flock of what they thought were BOHEMIAN
WAXWINGS, but were not sure.

November 10, 8:09 am, Carol Schulz (206) 824-7618. The PINK FOOTED GEESE
were re-found this weekend, by Diana Moore, Nov 9, seen near the field at the
corner of the tide flats on Port/Industrial Rd and Commerce, located after
crossing the Hoquiam River and they are in a field similar to ?K? st. From
Bowerman head back to Hoquiam, after crossing the bridge, over the river, make a rt
at the Greys Harbor Paper Co (Bay ave becomes Port/Industrial Rd), and proceed
to Commerce. There is a building under construction in back of the field,
they are near the building.

November 10, 9:55 am, this is Rachel Lawson, reporting for Richard Fleming
(206) 525-1974. He saw a MANDARIN DUCK on Green Lake, The bird is on the NW
side of the lake, 1/4 mile, walking counter clock-wise from the Bath House
Theater.

November 11, 1:22 pm, Vic Nelson reporting for yesterday, from Point-No-Point
at the northend of the Kitsap Penninsula, where I had a 1st winter
BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE. This morning I had at least 20 NORTHERN FULMARS entering Puget
Sound along with 1 SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATER and 30-40 ANCIENT MURRELETS.
