The Pink-footed Geese were spotted at about 3 this afternoon at K Street. We
had a few minutes to observe them, long enough to compare with an accompanying
Gr. White-fronted Goose, when a walker with a dog let it run out into the field
where upon all of the associated Canada Geese, White-fronted and Pink-footed
took off and landed out in the river. At the time I was wishing for a little
bit better look at the feet when the feet in question came into view pumping
furiously before flight as the dog chased them all into the air.
