I finally had a chance to run down to Clark College where the
female RED-NAPED SAPSUCKER, reported by Ray Korpi, was an easy find in
the Turkish Fir tree just east of the bell tower. I then went down to the
Vancouver Lake Lowlands where 73 GREAT EGRETS were on Post Office Lake
which also had a flock of 54 HOODED MERGANSERS. I found 82 SANDHILL
CRANES in the field across from Frenchman's Bar County Park along with
thousands of cackling Canada Geese.
