Subject: Pine Siskin Invasion!

Watching my waterfall/pond this afternoon, a flock of
several hundred Pine Siskins came thru, about 50 at a
time coming down to drink from the waterfall.
Interesting part was they used mostly the upper
portion of the falls, nearest the best cover. And
were much more interested in the water than the
Sunflower seeds out nearby. The way they were cycling
from the falls to the tress and back looked like the
film you see of Quelea in Africa! I've never seen so
many Siskins! They hung around for about 10 minutes,
and were off again. Saw several small groups later,
but the trees were full from that first group.
Amamzing!
