Birded 4 hours today mostly on the Yakama Indian Reservation from Granger to
Mud Lake (along Pumphouse Rd. W of Toppenish Wildlife Refuge). Lots of
frozen water so the waterfowl numbers were down.

Birds of the day were the 2 PRAIRIE FALCONS and 1 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK and 1
NORTHERN SHRIKE. I know it's still officially fall but it's looking more
like winter birdwise.

[2] 1 at Old Goldendale Rd. (T10N section 36 R19E) 1 at Lateral "C"
and Yost Rd. (T10N section 14 R18E) This was about an hour apart
so may be same bird.

[3] Old Goldendale Rd. Just north of Pumphpouse Rd. and just across the
first cattle guard, Delorme page 37 B5 (T10N section 36 R19E). This is
getting to be a reliable spot for Northern Shrike. I've had them here for
several winters now.
