Greetings,

This morning I found a banded immature male Cooper's Hawk feeding on a Rock
Pigeon at Clover Point BC. This bird was banded this year not far away in
Saanich.

It was intent on feeding and guarding its prey. It flew off finally when a
couple of people decided to feed the Glaucous-winged Gulls about 30 feet
away.
