Subject: Scrub jay sightings

Hello:

I was told by an associate biologist to contact your website about any
uncommon and incidental bird observations, so here goes...

Since 1998, I have regularly observed scrub jays in Enumclaw, WA, upon
relocating to the area, every year, and even in late fall-winter. Most
recently, last weekend, I spotted a scrub jay in Renton, along 3rd Avenue
near Rainier Ave. S. while at a bus stop. My colleague indicated he has
not observed the species in the Bothell area, [of course not too distant]
from Renton. Frequently I've dismissed calling anyone about my
observations with the thought that other birder-types would document this
activity amidst my sightings, but if not, I thought I'd contact you to
report that these observations may be of local interest to birders.

Any info you could pass on regarding the species in the greater Seattle
area, outlying areas would be interesting, and appreciated!
