My father and I birded Ridgefield NWR in Clark County yesterday.
Enjoyable birding, although no rarities. We were unable to relocate
the loon observed earlier.

For the first time, I was able to take some so-so photos of a
Bufflehead (these guys have been tough to digiscope in the past; they
are very jumpy). One of the Rough-legged Hawks was also willing to
