Hi Tweets:

On Saturday, the 29th, Hugh Jennings and I were birding with people from
Texas who had a wish list of new birds. We saw the Emperor Goose at Lincoln Park,
Port Angeles, but did not see the Snow Bunting at Ediz Hook. Has anyone else
seen the Black Swan that's swimming around at Ediz Hook? Another unusual
find was an American Dipper that was standing on a gravel bar in the estuary off
Blyn Rd., Hwy 101. Early in the day we scoped a Merlin at the top of a
conifer tree in Port Gamble. It then made a fly-by out over the water, returned at
eye-level, and flew back to the top of the same tree.
