Tweeters,
The sun hasn't as yet broken through today at this spot on the river, and it's cool and foggy at a very high water level. No highlight for this time, except for the first sighting of a harbor seal for quite a while. One of the least productive days for numbers of species thus far this year. Note: The PEREGRINE FALCON was on the east power tower at 7:45am.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:

Double-crested Cormorant (6)
Mallard (9)
Glaucous-winged Gull (6; one of which was doing the plunge dive activity--the two-foot drop straight into the water and under to snag small fish)
Rock Pigeon (45)
Bushtit (1; this lone bird was working the butterfly shubs and calling continuously; I noted over 40 Bushtits at 7:45am)
House Finch

May all your birds be identified,
