Hello Whatcom Birders,

Had a jaunt to Concrete this afternoon. On my return I stopped to see if I
could find the Great Egret. To my great pleasure it was still there.

Interested folks can find it on Highway 20, east of Lyman, at mile post
76.2, on the north side.

This afternoon the bird emerged from the back where the slough curves to the
right and out-of-sight.

There were also a couple of shorebirds, yellowleg size, that were tough to
see due to their mottled brown backs and the brown enviromnet.
