Yesterday we went up to Rockport and a few miles east to see the salmon. It was a lot of fun as there were a lot of salmon - more than I ever remember seeing. At the eagle spotting pullout a few miles east of Rockport we saw a single osprey. This struck me as odd since I haven't seen osprey for a few weeks and figured they had all migrated south already.

There were large numbers of crows, a few ravens, several great blue herons, and quite a few gulls (which I didn't study too closely, sorry). We did not see one eagle during the day, which was as odd as seeing the osprey.
