On Monday afternoon, 10/13, there were 539 LONG-BILLED CURLEWs and 2
BAIRD'S SANDPIPERs at Lind Coulee. There were no other shorebirds seen.
Not even a single Killdeer. This is the largest number of dowitchers I
can remember seeing in one place. Over 500 were on the upstream side of
Road M.

There was also a single GREAT EGRET at the coulee.
