This afternoon there was an all-white-backed chickadee with about an inch of
black-tipped tail in my yard. It didn't stay long, Didn't fly up to the
feeders; noshed on the ground beneath them a few minutes and took off. I waited a
long time but it never came back. Because it was so small I assumed it was a
chestnut-backed with a touch of albinism?
