For the first time since October 2nd, I saw a (the local?) PEREGRINE FALCON on the east-bank power tower, across the river from Hamm Creek. At 12:14pm, while on my way from a meeting in one building on the Boeing Developmental Site to yet another meeting, the falcon was perched on the middle safety railing on the west side of the catwalk, below the tower top. At 2:11pm, it was at the top of the tower, at the south end. It appeared to be actively scanning for prey, not preening.
