Tweeters,
I neglected to mention on my message in answer to Kelly's question that
I also checked my database of other peoples Olympic Peninsula records for
the period from 10-1 to 3-31 and the only Horned Lark record I could find
was 1-17-02 at Ediz Hook by Bruce Morehead which is likely the same one that
I and the others on that Olympic Peninsula Audubon trip saw 9 days later.

Pallid Horned Larks breed in the Olympics at high elevations. Does anyone
know where these birds winter? According to the BirdWeb account, Pallid
Horned Larks winter in nearby lowlands, but Horned Larks do not show up on
the Sequim-Dungeness CBC in the 1990s. Where do these birds go?

Thanks,
Kelly Cassidy
