Today there was a female RUSTY BLACKBIRD near the intersection of Hwy 167
and 277th in south King County.

The bird had a reddish-brown cap, well defined buffy supercilium, yellow
eye and a reddish back. It was with a very large flock of blackbirds,
cowbirds, starlings and House Sparrows.

To reach the site where the bird was seen travel south on Hwy 167 south of
Kent to the 277th St Exit. Take this exit and turn left at the stoplight.
Cross over 167 going east and turn left at the third light. Counting the
light at the southbound exit, this is light #4 where you turn left.
Immediately after turning left you will see a feed mill on the right. This
is where the blackbird flock is found. Ocassionally this flock will spread
out across the street near the silo.

It was a good day.
