Hi. This is Daniel Bastaja posting for Saturday, October 25th, 2003. I
found a great site that would be a good pictorial reference for birders
living on the wet coast (pun intended!) of North America. Although the
site has images from the entire Eastern Palearctic/ Paleotropic region,
included in it's huge 4,000 image gallery is a lot of species that
wander to North America. For example there are 63 images of gulls
including Slaty-backed, Black-tailed and Vega gull, 125 images of
sandpipers including all the stints, Great Knot, Grey-tailed Tattler,
etc., 72 pics of Plovers, 59 Wagtails and Pipits, etc.
