......................A V-formation of 16 very noisy SANDHILL CRANES flew
southswards overhead Friday noon while I was sitting in my car eating
lunch on the parking lot at Columbia Sportswear Distribution
Center---Leadbetter Rd.--Rivergate area---north Portland. Such sweet
music---the "symphony of the Cranes"---can't seem to hear enough of it!!!
......................Also about 14 smaller Canada Geese were resting in
the grassy, sandy field next to the parking lot.
