Hi Tweeties,

Hanging out in our backyard is a very tame "lone wolf" pigeon with a band on its right leg. My husband is chopping and stacking firewood while the bird sits on the roof right above him. There are no other pigeons anywhere in my neighborhood.

What can we do? The bird is alone, and very used to human activity. If its banded does that mean its a lost and disoriented racing bird? Is there some racing pigeon club I could contact?
