Hi Tweeters,

I was writing this email hit refresh and viola the
whole text dissappeared, weird...

George Divoky's presentation on his results of 30
years of study of the Black Guillemots of Cooper
Island next Thursday is open to the public. More
details can be found at the Friends of Cooper Island
website.

Upon a bit more reflection of the WOS talk I went to
after the shelters were built and B. Guillemots did
fill them all...then the real study of population
trends was embarked. The population of younger birds
that did not disperse were forced to wait to breed as
the shelters were "reserved" so to speak to the
established breeders. Their lifespans if I remember
right are quite long. Polar bears were a big problem
this year.

OK so time to try and send this once again intact.
Plus I will sign my email correctly this time;-)
