I will fly into Seattle Wednesday of next week and I plan to drive
right away to Ocean Shores. I arrive a little before noon your time,
so I think I should be able to get to the Jetty area before it is too
late. I have two questions:

1) I have not seen any reports of Rock Sandpiper yet from observers
who have been to Ocean Shores. Am I perhaps coming a bit early?
Just wondering.


2) Would there be any fairly reliable sites in that area or in the
general Seattle area for Red-breasted Sapsucker? that is a bird I
just have not yet seen.
