Tweeters,
Beautiful sunshine this afternoon on the river, with an outgoing tide beating against a cold north wind. I thought I'd be held to Glaucous-winged Gulls and Rock Pigeons, but a few more species showed up late in the scan. (If I ever had anything like the 56 species Michael Hobbs reported for Marymoor Park for Wed past, I'd have thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Still, being able to step outside to look in on the river is better than the alternative.)

Birds seen today include the following:
Gadwall (3)
Mallard (3)
Common Merganser (flyby)
Double-crested Cormorant (4)
Glaucous-winged Gull (5)
Rock Pigeon (29)
Belted Kingfisher
House Finch

Happy Halloween, and may all the ghosties and ghoulies around your home be identified,
