Good Evening,
This morning (9:30-11:00 am) I easily found the Juv.
Ruff at the horse pasture pond just a hundred yards
beyond the 3 Crabs restaurant near Sequim (Clallam
County). There were also two Pectoral sandpipers, 5
LB Dowitchers and both Least and Western sandpipers
foraging about the pond. The Ruff likes the pond edge
closest to the road, only 20-50' away.
At the Foulweather Bluff (see Brian Bell's previous
directions) marsh the only shorebirds this afternoon
(1:45-2:30 pm) were 2 Greater Yellowlegs, a single W.
Sandpiper and about 8 Killdeer.
