Saw a Western Kingbird at the North Jetty at Fort Canby State Park on
2 September 2003. Only unusual bird on a six-day expedition along the
southwest coast from Ocean Shores to the Columbia River. Shorebird
numbers way down, saw only 19 species with much effort.
