Subject: Klickitat County Fall North American Migration Count September

Folks,

Another breeding season has come and gone. Many species have already left,
others are about to leave or are moving through, but it is always
interesting to see what is where in late September.

The North American Migration Counts are conducted nationwide, on a county
by county basis. If your county doesn't have one, you might want to
consider starting one. They are held the second Saturday in May and the
third Saturday in September.

If you are interested in helping with the Klickitat County count, let me
know as soon as possible. It is always good to get new participants to help
our 15 or so regulars. We generally have 20 to 25 observers helping.

See previous count results at http://community.gorge.net/birding/counts.htm

Hope you have had some interesting bird observations this year,
