Hello All,
An interesting little item I tripped across today. I just found out that as of 1993 we in the Oregon/Washington CBC reporting region have located high numbers of Caspian Terns during the CBC period. And according to the data graph I was looking at there have been two high spikes in winter counts. One between 1993 and 1996 and the second between 1996 and 1999. Each high spike in the displayed graph represented a single bird. This neato graph can be found in the Appendix II, Figures, tables and Diagrams on page 49 of the EA on Piscivorous Bird Damage Management for the Protection of Juvenile Salmonids on the Mid-Columbia River. So my question is where were these two winter Caspian Terns located? Any help would be great.
Thanks Mike
