Steller Jays are fun birds!
Several years ago I was at Lake Fenwick Park in Kent where bald eagles
seemed to be having a lively conversation at a very low level. The eagle
sounds were coming from some rather short, scraggly trees next to the lake.
The eagle calls were a bunch of steller jays doing eagle imitations. Maybe
it was their version of kareoke or something.
