There are days at the Fill when one can do no wrong:

Out in Union Bay:

3 common terns
2 male redhead
24 wood ducks
2 pectoral sandpipers - flying around looking for somewhere to land
50+ american wigeon
14 ring-necked ducks
1 lesser scaup
12 green-winged teal
200 or so gadwall

One the central pond:

3 northern pintail
1 killdeer
a few yellow warblers

3 Wilson's snipe were flying around the SW pond
50-100 savannah sparrows along the west side of the Fill

Near the Center for Urban Horticulture:

5 Vaux's swifts
100+ barn swallows
several yellow warblers
several orange-crowned warblers

The stormy weather and fading light made the warblers hard to find but
judging by the number of calls there were quite a few birds around.
