Hi Tweeters--

This morning on a Black Hills Audubon trip there were 5 Great Egrets at the same location that Laurinda mentioned--the Bay City area outside Westport.

Shorebirds were sparse but interesting--

8 Snowy Plovers at Midway Beach (and some Horned Larks too)

~350 Marbled Godwits at the Tokeland Marina, along with 2 Whimbrels, 3 Willets, and a few Black Turnstones.

2 Wandering Tattlers at the Westport Jetty (Westhaven St. Park) and a Black Turnstone

A group of Black-bellied Plovers, 3 Long-billed Dowitchers, and 4 Least Sandpipers at Bottle Beach State Park.

There were other birds, but these were the main ones I can think of. Thanks to Phil Kelley for leading this trip!
