Hello All,

Yes we hit the delta area again in hopes of seeing more amazing birds. Below is a list of species observed.

1. Parasitic Jaeger........1 light morph adult different bird than yesterday due to unique plumage characteristics.
2. Forsters Tern........7 birds
3. Common Tern.......9 birds
4. Caspian Tern.........1 bird
5. Herring Gull............5 birds
6. Great Egret............2 birds on Casey Pond at MP 300.3 along HWY 12.
7. Osprey...................1 bird over delta

8. Mourning Dove.........460+ birds in a one mile stretch of Detour Rd. Highest concentration of doves we have ever observed in Walla Walla Co..
Well that is it for today.

P.S. Massive numbers of Alfalfa Butterflies (sulfur ssp.) throughout western Walla Walla Co.. This is the most we have seen in many years.
